Sports Centre is remains CLOSED until further notice (updated 07/07/20)
All our sports and events facilities at WISF are now closed to the public until further notice. We will continue to review this situation in line with Government advice and update accordingly. Our school remains open for our Key workers children to be supervised.
The last few weeks have seen many changes as lock down restrictions have started to ease. We have been closely observing all government and sporting bodies guidance and updates as are released. We are hopeful of further information from the UK Government soon. Regrettably, we are not in a position to advise when our facilities will re-open after this announcement has been made, however we will advise you as soon as we are able. Please accept our sincere thanks for your continued patience and understanding.
We want to reassure that careful planning and preparation will have been made to ensure that when the time comes, our community can return to our indoor and outdoor facilities with peace of mind. Whilst we do not know when we will reopen, we will strictly be following the Government, Department of Education and other sporting bodies advice. Our priority will always be to protect the safety, health and wellbeing of all that use our facilities.
We look forward to welcoming everyone back in the near future.
Update: We continue to follow advice from the government, Public Health England and the World Health Organisation. Precautionary measures are in place, and we are monitoring the situation as it develops but it currently remains business as usual and events are going ahead as planned. Everyone is encouraged to maintain good hand and personal hygiene.
We ask if you have developed or have recently developed, a new continuous cough and/or a high temperature that you and your family stay at home and self-isolate for a full 14 days from when the symptoms started. Child Protection Policy
Warwick School regards the safeguarding of its pupils as of the highest priority. To this end, there are strict rules that apply to all Sports Centre members and users. Rules relating to the appropriate use of allocated areas and opening times are in place to ensure the activities of the School and the Sports Centre are kept separate.
This can only work if all members and users of the Sports Centre play their part and observe the strict controls put in place to ensure pupils do not share unsupervised facilities with members or other users of the centre.
